WHAT: The Kids Like You, Kids Like Me Teacher Training is a comprehensive training for regional elementary school teachers working in general and special education. Kids Like You, Kids Like Me is funded by Unum and produced through a partnership between Siskin Children’s Institute and Creative Discovery Museum.

Celebrating Similarities and Differences Panel Discussion
The panel will be made up of citizens from the region who have special needs. Educators will have the opportunity to discuss and better understand the experiences of people with disabilities.
WHY: During this summer session, teachers gain a new understanding of disabilities and learn techniques for enhancing the educational experience of all children.
