Learn more about autism as statewide autism orientations continue with the next meeting in Cleveland, Tenn. on Tuesday, Sept. 6. This free event is sponsored by the Autism Society chapters in the state and by the Tennessee Department of Education/Tennessee's Early Intervention System (TEIS). This informational session about autism spectrum disorders will be conducted by an autism professional and a parent of a child with autism. The orientation is for parents of newly and previously diagnosed children, grandparents, caregivers, educators, therapists, psychologists, pediatricians and other medical professionals and other interested community members. Date: Tuesday, Sept. 6 Enrollment is limited, and reservations are required. Childcare is available with 48 hours notice.
