For years, generous gifts to the 365 Club annual fund have allowed Siskin Children's Institute to provide programs and services for children with special needs and their families.
The Institute is pleased to announce a 2010-11 365 Club annual fund grand total of $249, 859. While this is shy of the goal, it represents a $20,000 increase over the previous year’s campaign and shows an unwavering commitment on the part of our donors even during difficult economic times. We offer our sincere thanks.
The 365 Club is a longstanding tradition in Chattanooga. In 1962, Mose and Garrison Siskin founded the 365 Club to give people an opportunity to reach out to those in need. The motto was "a penny a day or more," and the club was open to anyone, with donations ranging from $3.65 to $36,500. Initial members included local elementary students and America's first 10 astronauts.
Today, the need is just as great as it was then. We hope you will consider a gift this year that will fund the Institute's education, outreach, health care and research programs that make life better for children and families.
Whether it’s $3.65 or $365,000, every gift to the 365 Club is valued and appreciated.
And you can feel good knowing your contribution directly benefits children with special needs and their families.
