10/14/11 - Learning Express Toys shopping event raises $4000 for the Institute

A big thank you to Learning Express Toys! Both store locations in Chattanooga hosted a special anniversary event on October 3 with 50% of all proceeds in the form of merchandise donated to the Siskin Early Learning Centers.

Based on the day's sales, Learning Express will donate $2500 to the Institute, and national toy manufacturer Melissa and Doug has committed to match the donation up to $1500. Learning Express is a wonderful supporter of the Institute and has donated merchandise to us several times in the past. The Early Learning Centers are play-based learning environments so the donation of fun, educational toys from Learning Express is an appropriate and appreciated gift.We thank them for their ongoing support!
