Siskin Presents StyleWorks: fashion with compassion on March 14

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Professional models will take to the catwalk at the Chattanooga Convention Center on March 14 to present StyleWorks: fashion with compassion, the annual marketplace, luncheon and fashion show held to benefit Siskin Children’s Institute. This popular event attracts nearly 1,000 women each year and is now celebrating its 31st anniversary as the premier fashion event in Chattanooga.

StyleWorks gives women the opportunity to shop, enjoy lunch with their friends and preview the latest spring fashions at an exclusive runway show. The day begins with the StyleWorks Marketplace, a showcase of more than 40 booths offering goods and services from the area’s leading retailers and specialty service providers. Attendees can shop before and after the show for jewelry, fashion accessories, decorative items, stationery and more.

Professional models will hit the runway after lunch to showcase the latest spring fashions in an exclusive fashion show patterned after the catwalks of Paris and New York. For the grand finale, local children will show off the latest in children’s wear, including children with special needs who have graduated from Siskin Children’s Institute.

Last year was a record year for StyleWorks. Not only did the event completely sell out, but it also set a record by netting more than $80,000 for Siskin Children’s Institute through corporate sponsorships and individual sales. All proceeds are used to support programs and services for children with special needs, their families, and the professionals who touch their lives.

There are still a few seats left; to reserve your spot, visit www.siskin.org or call (423) 648-1707. Tables of eight range from $365 to $1,000 and individual seats begin at $45.

StyleWorks is presented by Belk and sponsored by Chattem. Other sponsors include

ERMC, PlayCore, Rone Regency, Unum Group and JoAnn Yates.
