The American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) explains that “speech-language pathologists assist children in accessing their education by helping them reach their full communication potential at home and in the classroom environment. Therapy sessions may include language drills, articulation and socialization games that focus on the child’s expressive language and listening comprehension activities that boost a child’s receptive language abilities.” To the speech-language therapists and pathologists at Siskin Children’s Institute, thanks for all you do in making life better for the children with whom you work.
