Dr. Casey appointed as editorial board member

Institute researcher Amy Casey, Ph.D., BCBA, has been appointed to the editorial board of “Topics in Early Childhood Special Education.” This is one of the three major journals—the others are “Journal of Early Intervention” and “Infants and Young Children”—in the early intervention and early childhood special education field.

Dr. Casey is also an editorial board member for the “Journal of Early Intervention” and the “Journal of Special Education.”

Serving on an editorial board is a prestigious honor. Editorial board members are the primary peer reviewers of all submitted manuscripts for a journal, and the peer review process is the checkpoint for quality control in research and scholarship, helping to solidify a journal's impact in the field. All the editorial boards on which Dr. Casey serves are peer-reviewed.
