Pediatrics Seminar Rescheduled

Medical professionals can receive CME credits from the American Medical Association by attending a seminar at Siskin Children’s Institute, which has been rescheduled to Friday, April 23. Pediatricians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, therapists and psychologists can earn four AMA Credit Category I credits by attending the seminar about topics in developmental behavioral pediatrics.

The featured presenter is Regina Gargus, MD, FAAP, who is the medical director of the Siskin Children’s Institute-T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and the hospital’s Chief of the Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Gargus is triple board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her research focuses on disruptive childhood behaviors and other related issues.

Topics for the seminar include comorbidities in autism spectrum disorders, identifying learning disabilities, child-family interactive therapy in disruptive behavior disorders and impact of language delay on early childhood behaviors. The seminar, which costs $80, will be held at the Institute located at 1101 Carter Street in downtown Chattanooga across from the Chattanooga Convention Center. Save $20 when you register by March 12. Register online or call (423) 648-1758.
