Meet the 365 Club Ambassadors

David Allen 

 

Christie Burbank, 365 Club Ambassador co-chair  

Christie is an attorney with Miller and Martin PLLC, a law firm that has been serving Chattanooga for 144 years. Christie has a bachelor's degree in science from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., and earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee. She is on the board of the Children's Home/ Chambliss Shelter and is a sustaining member of the Junior League. She believes in giving back to her community. "We are so fortunate to have the Institute here in Chattanooga, and I want to assist the Institute and the children it serves."

Christie has been an Institute Ambassador since 2010.

 

Knox Campbell 

Knox is a commercial real estate relationship manager for First Tennessee Bank. Knox is active in the Chattanooga community, serving on the board of the Chattanooga Brain Injury Association and the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy and is a United Way Allocation Committee member. He is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Chattanooga.

Knox believes in the mission of the Institute and thinks it "provides the best early intervention opportunities locally for young children with special needs." He also appreciates the Institute's inclusive learning environment where children with special needs learn and grow side by side with children who are typically developing.

Knox has been an Institute Ambassador since 2009.

 

John Arthur Daniel, 365 Club Ambassador co-chair 

John Arthur Daniel is vice president of marketing and business development for Covenant Transport, Inc.  He graduated from The Baylor School in Chattanooga and earned his undergraduate degree in international marketing from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Vanderbilt.

John Arthur and his wife have called Chattanooga home all of their adult lives and are both actively involved in the community, including Siskin Children’s Institute and the 365 Club. They have a young daughter who was born in 2009.

John Artur has been an Institute Ambassador since 2008.

 

 

Meredith Ensign

Meredith Ensign is an active community volunteer and mother to Liam, 5, a typically developing child who attended the Siskin Early Learning Center-Downtown. Liam graduated in June 2011. Ms. Ensign chaired the 2010 ArtWorks event and co-chaired ArtWorks 2011.

Ms. Ensign is committed to supporting the Institute in any way she can. “I feel Chattanooga is so lucky to have the diverse resources that are provided by Siskin Children’s Institute. The Early Learning Centers, just one component of the Institute’s areas of focus, are truly unique. During Liam's time at the Institute, I enjoyed watching him develop into a confident and compassionate child thanks to the Institute.”

MaryStewart Lewis 

MaryStewart Lewis has almost 11 years experience with BellSouth and AT&T. Currently, MaryStewart is the Regional Director in External and Legislative Affairs for AT&T serving 28 counties in southeast TN. Before external affairs MaryStewart was an Account Manager and worked with AT&T’s Enterprise Business Division. Prior to joining AT&T, MaryStewart spent six years at Girls Preparatory School as Public Relations Director and Associate Director of Admissions.

MaryStewart has a Masters in Business Administration from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. She is involved with several community organizations. She is director with the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Chattanooga Urban League. In addition to serving as a 365 Club Ambassador she is co-chair of the Siskin Family Association.

She and her husband Matthew live on Signal Mountain with their two sons Beck and Benjamin.

 

 

Todd Plate

Todd Plate is a division manager with Siskin Steel and Supply Company in Chattanooga. He is committed to his volunteer work at Siskin Children’s Institute. “I believe in the mission of the Institute and want to support the community service organizations associated with the Siskin family.”

 

 

John Nelson Williams

John Nelson Williams is vice president of John Williams and Associates. In addition to serving as a 365 Club Ambassador for Siskin Children’s Institute, he also volunteers at Fairyland School, Good Shepherd School and McCallie School. Mr. Williams has a personal commitment to helping those with special needs and their families. “My wife was raised with an uncle who has Down syndrome and an aunt who has spina bifida. She and I have always believed in the value of an integrated educational experience and wanted that opportunity for our children and others.”

 

 

Arch Willingham

Arch Willingham is the executive vice president of T.U. Parks Construction in Chattanooga. He is vice president of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) professional organization, a board member for Widows Harvest Ministries and a member of the Lookout Mountain, Ga., Planning Commission. Mr. Willingham believes in the “the excellent work the Institute does for the kids.”
