Baleigh was born with a severe heart defect and was later diagnosed with a chromosomal disorder. Her disabilities affect her physically and cognitively. But with the help of her family and the dedicated staff at Siskin Children's Institute, Baleigh is making progress each day. In the spring, four-year-old Baleigh learned to use a walker and with her newfound mobility there is no stopping her.
Baleigh is one of the hundreds of children who receive services through the Institute's four areas of focus: education, outreach, health care and research.
