About the 365 Club
The 365 Club Annual Fund provides financial support to help the Institute make life better for children of all abilities and their families. Whether it’s $3.65 or $365,000, anyone can give to the Institute and become part of the club.
The 365 Club has been a longstanding tradition in Chattanooga. In 1962, Mose and Garrison Siskin founded the 365 Club to give people an opportunity to reach out to those in need. The motto was "a penny a day or more," and the club was open to anyone, with membership fees ranging from $3.65 to $36,500. Initial members included local elementary students and America's first 10 astronauts. Wishing wells appeared around town to collect pennies and other donations, and everyone from the tiniest of tots to senior adults participated in the 365 Club. Some of the original club members even continue to renew their memberships to this day.
