Regina Gargus, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Regina Gargus is Medical Director of the new Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital. She most recently served as Medical Director of the J.L. Dennis Developmental Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Dr. Gargus received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia-Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also completed her pediatric residency and a neonatology fellowship. After a decade and a half as a medical director of neonatal services in Virginia, she completed a three-year developmental behavioral pediatric fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine in Rhode Island. Dr. Gargus is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics, neonatal-perinatal medicine and developmental behavioral pediatrics. Her academic interests are in developmental behavioral conditions in children, autism spectrum disorders, oppositionality in toddlers, bullying behaviors and developmental surveillance of children who required NICU care.  

Michelle Cahill Kimball, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC
Michelle is a certified nurse practitioner with more than a decade of experience. She most recently worked at the Children’s Doctors in Fort Oglethorpe. Michelle received her degrees from The University of Tennessee and Emory University. She also has served as an educational consultant for school nurses in Walker County, Georgia.

Brandon Rodgers, Ph.D.
A Chattanooga native, Dr. Rodgers received his Ph.D. in human development with a specialty in marriage and family therapy from Virginia Tech. He earned his master's degree in school psychology from Appalachian State University. He is a licensed marital and family therapist by the Tennessee State Board of Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists and Clinical Pastoral Therapists. In addition to being licensed as a certified psychological assistant by the Tennessee State Board of Examiners in Psychology, he is a nationally certified school psychologist and licensed as a school psychologist in North Carolina, where he previously worked. His research focuses on mental health stigma, cultural-health beliefs, parenting styles and grandparents raising grandchildren. His work has been published in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy and other scholarly research journals. He has also presented at conferences and workshops, including the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Annual Conference.

Kilbrey Fowler, MED, DPT, PCS

• Doctorate in physical therapy
• Master in diagnostic and prescriptive education
• Board certified pediatric specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) for children with cerebral palsy  

Jill Ethridge, OTR/L

• Pediatric specialist in occupational therapy
• Trained in SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Treatment of Feeding Disorders)
• Extensive background and training in evaluation and implemetation of assistive technology
• Trained in the Handwriting Without Tears Writing Program

Mary Jane Thomas, MCD, CCC-SLP

• Master of communication disorders
• Certified in NOMAS (Neonatal Oral Motor Assessment Scale)
• Trained in SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Treatment of Feeding Disorders)
• Trained in the Floortime Model
• Trained in the interpretation of pediatric videofluoroscopic swallow studies

Beth Wallace, M.S., CCC-SLP

Pam Berry, LPNC
Pam has been an LPNC for 10 years. She has worked for the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics for the last year as the center’s nurse. Pam received her nursing diploma from Northwestern Technical Community College in Rock Springs, GA. Prior to coming to the center, she worked for 16 years at Erlanger East Women's Pavilion in labor and delivery with five years serving there as a post partum LPNC caring for women and infants. Before becoming a nurse, Pam worked as a scrub technician in labor and delivery. 

Traci Love, MA, CCC-SLP

• Licensed in the state of Tennessee
• Master in communication sciences and disorders

Administrative staff 

Melinda Spence
Melinda is the administrative assistant of the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. She studied business management at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Chattanooga State Technical Community College. She is certified in Medical Office Administration and has more than 25 years of management and business administration experience. Before come to the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, she worked at New Horizons Computer Learning Center as director of training.

Connie Quarles
Connie is a patient service representative at the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. She studied data processing at Chattanooga State Technical Community College. She has more than 25 years of billing, insurance authorizations and medical records experience. She worked at TEAM Centers before coming to the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics.

Sharon Brewer
Sharon is a patient service representative at the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. She has 30 years of customer service and insurance experience. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee before coming to the Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics.
