Student Training Rotation Program

Are you an early childhood or special education major interested in spending the day in an integrated classroom? Do you want to work with young children with special needs? Take this opportunity to learn from professional staff interacting with children of all abilities.

The Siskin Outreach and Resource Center equips future educators and other health professionals with knowledge, resources and experiences to help them serve children with special needs and their families.

  • Study the activities and interactions of children with and without disabilities by utilizing our observation rooms.
  • Work within our state-of-the-art classrooms and learn through hands-on interactions with children and staff.
  • Observe the clinical procedures, therapy sessions, and other related services used to support children with and without disabilities.
  • Interact with both children and Siskin educators to understand the curriculum, therapy integration, and instructional techniques implemented within Siskin’s classrooms.
  • Participate in a comprehensive specialized training rotation as part of an internship or practicum placement program.
