Internship Opportunity

Are you in college looking for a summer internship allowing you to work with children? Come join the volunteer staff of a unique camp providing a fun camp experience for children with autism.

Friends Discovery Camp at the Creative Discovery Museum is an inclusive two-week camp for children ages 7 through 10 with and without autism. The camp focuses social learning opportunities and, or course, fun!

"Big buddies" are paired with two campers (one with autism and one without autism) to foster friendships and assist with camp activities. Acceptance into this non-paid internship is based on professor recommendation, committment to the mandatory training session and daily attendance during the two week camp.
