About ESCALATE Program Components

 The ESCALATE Program includes three overarching components.

• a district-wide consultant who works with early interventionist professionals, community childcare programmers and families caring for a child with autism or autism-like behaviors

• a model classroom for autism intervention

• support-based home visits for children and their families

ESCALATE is funded in part through the Tennessee Department of Education via an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act federal award.
