Teaching Partner - Substitute

Location:  Siskin Early Learning Centers - Downtown and East Brainerd

Full/Part-time: Part-time

Regular/Temporary:  Temporary

Siskin Children’s Institute is accepting applications for a Classroom Paraprofessional Substitute assisting in the classroom. This position provides support to the classroom during the temporary absence of classroom staff on an as-needed basis.

Ideal candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of child care experience, preferably in special education or early childhood education. Completion of CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate and TECTA (Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance) orientation or equivalent are desired. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills with children of all abilities and parents and the ability to follow instructions and problem solve as part of a classroom team.
