Developmental Family Therapy Center
At Siskin Children's Institute, our mission is to work towards improving the quality of life for children with special needs and their families. With this in mind, the Center for Developmental Pediatrics has recently expanded services and developed an innovative family therapy internship and residency program designed to meet the unique therapeutic needs of families with special needs in our community.
Our new program helps to address a range of concerns commonly experienced by many children and families with special needs such as Developmental Concerns, Autism Spectrum Diagnosis, Peer Struggles, General Social Skill Difficulties, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Separation Anxiety, Parenting Techniques, Obsessive-compulsive Behavior, Learning Challenges, Low Self-esteem, Executive Functioning Difficulties, ADHD, and More
Appointments can be made by Self-Referral or families can be referred from a Siskin Provider, a Primary Care Physician, a Local Therapy Provider, or their child’s Local School System.
