Ideal for children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years, applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is the leading therapy recommended for children with autism. Although helpful in improving social skills, memory, focus, and more, the main goal of applied behavior analysis therapy is to increase positive, helpful behaviors and decrease unwanted behaviors.

Research suggests 20-30 hours of therapy per week produces the best results, however, our team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) can participate less or more than this recommended amount.
Before starting ABA therapy, your child will first need an autism diagnosis. This process can take up to a year, however at Siskin, we often see patients at our Chattanooga and Nashville locations within just 1-2 months.
