Siskin Children’s Institute Announces StarNight 2026 – Western Glam
CHATTANOOGA, TN – On Saturday, August 15, 2026, Siskin Children’s Institute will host its annual StarNight Gala at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Now more than 60 years strong, this beloved tradition unites the community for an evening of celebration and purpose benefiting Siskin Children’s Institute.
Siskin Children’s Institute is excited to announce that this year’s StarNight event committee will be co-chaired by Stefanie and Kevin Beavers, along with Toni and Dan Youngman. This dedicated committee, made up of more than 25 community leaders, is ready to get to work making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across our community. Committee members represent a wide range of organizations and industries, including Align Utility, Chattanoogan Hotel, Chattanooga Bar Association, Chattanooga Times Free Press, City of Chattanooga Mayor’s Council on Disability, City Paper Company, Cornerstone Consulting Source, Crazy Grace Farms, Girls Preparatory School, Husch Blackwell, Junior League, NAI Charter, PlayCore, Raising Canes, Regions Bank, RSS Insurance, Shire Facial Plastic Surgery, Silverdale Baptist Academy, Siskin Steel & Supply Company, The Burd Law Firm, TransCard, and UTC united by a shared commitment to supporting Siskin’s mission.
Since 1950, Siskin Children’s Institute has provided expert developmental pediatric care, early intervention services, and family support for children with disabilities and developmental differences across the region. StarNight, the organization’s signature fundraiser, supports critical diagnostic services, therapies, and programs that empower children to reach their fullest potential.
Recognized as one of Chattanooga’s premier philanthropic events, StarNight blends elegance, entertainment, and inspiring storytelling. This year’s “Western Glam” theme invites guests to embrace elegance with elevated western style; think boots paired with formal wear, statement cowboy hats, fringe, bold turquoise, and refined western details. The evening will feature cocktail reception and entertainment, elegant dinner, live and silent auctions, and powerful moments highlighting the children and families whose lives are transformed through the work of Siskin Children’s Institute.
“For many families, Siskin is more than a building; it’s a lifeline,” said Stefanie Wittler-Beavers, 2026 StarNight Co-Chair. “It’s where parents find guidance and reassurance, and where children are met with encouragement and the belief that their potential is limitless. Every day brings remarkable progress, and the need for these vital services continues to grow.”
“Grit, Grace, and Giving,” captures the heart of the Institute’s mission. Grit reflects the perseverance and resilience of the children and families who face challenges with courage each day. Grace represents the compassion and clinical excellence of Siskin’s staff and the steadfast support of the community. Giving honors the generosity of donors and sponsors whose contributions make life-changing services possible.
“As parents and grandparents, we understand how vital resources like Siskin are to families,” said 2026 StarNight Co-Chair Toni Youngman. “We invite our community to join us under the western stars. Your involvement fuels the therapies, programs, and hope families depend on.”
“At Siskin Children’s Institute, everything we do is centered on improving the quality of life for children with special needs and their families,” said Don Mueller, President and CEO. “For every child who walks through our doors, we are committed to providing evidence-based, family- centered care and expanding access so they can reach their full potential. Funding remains our greatest barrier, and support through events like StarNight allows us to reach more families, reduce barriers to care, and continue delivering the high-quality services our community depends on.”
Community members are invited to become sponsors, purchase tables, or make a donation. Proceeds ensure children have access to life-changing evaluations, therapies, and family services regardless of financial circumstances.
